He/They
Liam Kille is an environmental and background artist for 2D animation, stop-motion, and video games. He works with anything from clay, cardboard, and wire, to acrylic, pastel, and found materials. They also work with the Adobe suite, Procreate, and Toon Boom Harmony. Liam enjoys hands-on approaches to problem-solving. Inspired by bridging 3D materials into 2D media, Liam creates works of art that evoke the mood and ambiance of a scene.
Liam has worked with Ghost View Studios on their upcoming film Önetta, the University of Kansas French, Francophone, and Italian department on sticker and t-shirt designs, and KJHK radio on sticker and marketing designs. He co-founded the first illustration club with Norea Menold at the University of Kansas School of Architecture and Design in January of 2025, creating a more united community of artists. Through art sales on campus, local events, art fairs, and gallery shows, the club was able to fund 10 students to attend the 2025 LightBox Expo in Pasadena, California.
In his free time, Liam enjoys playing games like Cult of the Lamb, Hades, and OFF. They also enjoy watching cartoons, crocheting, and spending time with his fiancé and two cats.
